Pastoral, Office, & Music Staff

Rev. Dr. Wayne Eberly, Pastor, and Julie Eberly came to APC in February of 2023, having served churches in California, Rhode Island, and a previous pastorate in Houston. In June of 2026 Wayne celebrated his 40th anniversary as an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church. Finding great joy in leading Bible Studies and small groups, Wayne also has a deep love for preaching. A graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary (Masters of Divinity) and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry), Wayne had the privilege of serving as an adjunct faculty member with Fuller Seminary’s Texas campus, teaching their preaching course.
Wayne has a love for the whole church family, finding great joy spending time with the entire church family, from the youngest to the oldest. Being a pastor is his passion, seeking to share the love of Christ as the church reaches out to the world with the message of hope, healing, and wholeness.
Married since 1982, Wayne and Julie have been blessed with four children and six grandchildren, who affectionately call them Bubba and Ebby.

Rhonda Blake, Office Coordinator, is originally from Northern Virginia, moved to Texas in 2006 and now lives in Houston. With a background in administrative roles across various industries, including experience as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant, she brings strong organizational skills and behind-the-scenes support to the team. Rhonda is excited to begin this new chapter in her career and faith journey, and looks forward to connecting with the church community.
