Spiritual Fellowship

The Spiritual Fellowship Committee ministers to the social needs of our members through various interest groups. These include the following activities.

Ancient Mariners travel by bus several times a year. Trips include museum tours, plays, and places of interest. The contact person is Linda Andrus (Harley3604@aol.com).

Empty Nesters meet for dinner at area restaurants on the first Tuesday of each month. All adults are welcome to join. The contact person is Nancy Anderson (nancy.anderson56@yahoo.com).

Game Day for Grown-ups meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 10 am to play games and enjoy snacks. The contact people are Terri Parmerlee (tparmerlee@gmail.com) and Linda Andrus (Harley3604@aol.com) 

Horizons Bible Study/Presbyterian Women: Women of the church gather on the second Thursday of the month at 11:30 am for lunch and bible study, using the Horizon study published by the Presbyterian Church USA. All women are welcome. The contact person is Janet Griffin (janetgriffin3663@gmail.com).

Men’s Monday Meet Up (3M) is a group for men who are young and/or young at heart to gather for fellowship on the second Monday of every month at 6:30pm. The group meets at Charlie’s Watch Bar 20669 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Humble, TX 77346 for conversation and a meal. Contact Jamie Hannan (jameshannanjr@gmail.com or 281-799-0320) for more information.

Seniors and Friends: This group meets on the third Thursday of the month at a local restaurant for lunch and conversation. The contact person is Bonnie Carr (bncrr1@gmail.com).

Time Out for Men is a monthly luncheon that provides men of all ages the opportunity to have a lively conversation and enjoy a delicious meal. Time Out for Men meets the second Thursday of each month at noon. Contact person is Pastor Wayne Eberly (pastorwayne@aphchumble.org)

Yoga for Everyone is an adult exercise class that meets year round at 9:30 on Monday mornings, in the Fellowship Hall. The contact person is Lisa Stacy (lisastacy3@yahoo.com).
