Spiritual Fellowship Ministry

The Spiritual Fellowship Committee ministers to the social needs of our membersthrough various interest groups. These include the following activities.

Ancient Mariners: Anient Mariners provides activities for retired people. Several bus trips a year are planned. These include museum tours, plays, and places of interest. The contact person is Linda Andrus (Harley3604@aol.com).

Empty Nesters: This group is for adults. Dinners are scheduled for area restaurants every other month. All adults are welcome to join. The contact person is Ann Owen (annowen@suddenlink.net).

Game Day for Grown-ups: This group meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 11:30 for pot luck lunch followed by table games. The contact person is Carol Cutshall (carolpcutshall@gmail.com).

Horizons Bible Study/Presbyterian Women: Women of the church gather on the second Wednesday of the month for lunch and a guided study. Horizon study guides are used to study the Bible. All women are welcome in the Parlor or Fellowship Hall at 11:30 for pot luck followed by the study from 12:00 to 1:00. The contact person is Judi Anderson (jla.lpc55@gmail.com).

Seniors and Friends: This group meets on the third Thursday of the month at a local restaurant for lunch and conversation. The contact person is Bonnie Carr (bncrr1@gmail.com).

Yoga for Everyone is an adult exercise class that meets year round at 9:30 on Monday mornings, in the Fellowship Hall. The contact person is Lisa Stacy (lisastacy3@yahoo.com).

In addition to activity groups SFC also participates in Family Promise; provides rides for those who need to get to medical appointments; loans medical equipment to members; enlists people to greet folks and to provide cookies on Sunday mornings. SFC participates, as needed, in other activities that enhance the church community.
